This sculptural table base design emerges from a composition of interlocking oval forms.
These shapes originate from oval sink cut-outs, stacked in their hundreds and left unused for decades.
Since being salvaged, these egg-shaped offcuts have found new lives across many applications — from HomeStone hot plates and bathroom flooring to bedside tables tops and garden stepping stones.
A recent commission invited us to push them further, transforming these offcuts into table bases where the soft pink tones of Rosa Aurora and the interlocking curves come together in a quietly satisfying finish.
